Yup, it is quite annoying sitting there as it counts up and tries to make "the transaction" for gameplay. In some ways, I really like being able to just jump in and frag away in random match-ups. You just login and play. No fuss, no mess, and everyone is on a level playing field.

I certainly don't miss some of the server "issues" I saw in COD4 with random lame rules like: no grenades, no assault rifles, camping = killing 2 people in the same map location, camping = shooting from behind cover, no knife kills, no firing without permission, or whatever lame rules admins were using on their own homey FFA server to ban skilled players from their little kingdom.

Yup, the random match-ups are a pretty good equalizer for those who just like to jump in and play a few rounds now and then.

Sadly i really don't think they will put in deds.IW for one reason or another pretty much told the PC community to eat shit and like it.Seems BFBC2 may make them do it or MW2 dies a very fast death IMHO.I Can't speak for myself but i know ALOT of people that are going to be playing BFBC2 I just hope i can get it to run on my Rig from the past.....:)Really thou i been having alot more fun with Global Agenda i rarely play MW2 at all anymore.I will say it was super fun meeting new people(From DSLR Jiga you and your crew are mad men) thou i'll give the game that but thats it.

I am also enjoying Global Agenda. I am not leveling up characters as I am trying different ones. You think you are going to pay to play in the MMORPG?

Next time you see it Happen Switch over to riot shield class and pretty much just find a corner.A few days ago some d-bag was hacking and pretty much the entire group went to Shields and his team pretty much just stopped playing(they were pointing out were he was on map :).The D-bag left then we played some ok laggy games :(.......

I wish there was a "report player" function or something, but I just disconnected and swapped servers. I personally love the game, as it's the first "tactical" FPS I've really put time into (you're gonna laugh) Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear (yeah, wasn't that like ten years ago?).

Sounds like EA and BF2. Remember when people were glitching into walls and killing enemy players? BF2 releases a patch and a day later it was still going on. The only difference here is that IW is patching a lot more frequently. I had to live with that wall glitching crap with BF2 for 4 months.

I don't recall that, to far back :p What I mainly remember is our days of Black Hawk Whoring were numbered when they announced the patch to "fix" it.

I'm still enjoying MW2, just hate IWNet.

JB posted : No admins is a double edged sword. You aren't getting banned for "hacking" when you are really just a player that knows how to aim... (used to happen in cod/coduo/cod2 all the time) but at the same time obviously you can't ban blatant cheaters.

This guy named pwnage was spinning around getting headshots left and right, definitely wish we could have banned him. Easy fix for that though, just drop and join a different game type.

I'm with you, I used to play the old Call of Duty games with leaning and can say now I'm indifferent on leaning. Since it is built on steam, of course there's no leaning =P

after 5 days of game play I have to say I am pretty disappointed in the failures of this game...

being stuck with no dedicated servers takes away a huge part of the on line experience...no admins and sometimes faulty hosting is incredibly disruptive and takes away from what should be a seamless gaming experience...

I kept an open mind about the deletion of lean in this game...but it has changed game play so much for me that I have spent the majority of the time thinking I should just go play MW1...

I like all of the new weapons, achievements, killstreaks, and other features of this game...which makes it all the more frustrating that this game doesn't have the things I mentioned before...

I am sure I would really love this game if it was a true sequel to MW1...but its not...I will give it more time but I am sure I will be back to playing MW1 soon enough...

My dad served 2 tours in Vietnam (wasn't drafted) and says the same thing. He played through the single player campaign and had to put it away. It was very realistic to him and he just retired from the military about 3 years ago. So you aren't alone.

So says the Haxtor(You know its True you shot that one guy and he knows) ;)...Ground wars is kind of full of hacks and cheats IMHO.Just today some guy came on and headshot,headshot ,headshot within seconds of the games start.

I typically just skip the kill cam unless it is S&D. If I am ever fishy about a person or just want to know where the hell that shot came from, then I watch. Typically it is just players playing smart or hiding it very very well. I really only care about the blatant hackers, aimbot/wallhack. If they choose to hide it, I seem to have no problem taking them out.

While the game in the video I posted is completely different - Many unfamiliar or average players would think that guy is cheating or using scripts - When he isn't.

I've only seen one cheater so far and he was wallhacking. I haven't seen any aimbotters, or I didn't notice them because they were so bad anyways it didn't cause me to notice them.

There are people who drop the word "hack" in this game in every game that I play. My brother is awesome at this game and get gets accused of wallhacking and aimbotting all the time. He uses no such hacks while playing.

It seems that a lot of people believe that there is rampant hacking going on in this game and that is really not the case. I have come across 3 people who I know were hacking in the game because there was evidence of it on the killcam. Every other death I have gotten has been legit.

I definatly agree. I get accused of aimbotting almost every game I play because i'm pulling off headshots so often.

People need to understand that since CoD4 the call of duty games have become remarkably easy compared to games like TF2, or UT. Kills, even on normal mode, are so easy to accomplish; And headshots are ultra-easy.

I consider myself a pro at the original Half-Life Deathmatch. Anyone who has played the original HLDM knows how hard and twitchy that game was. So games like MW2 are pretty much childs play for me. Even when i'm hammered i'm easily on top of the score list.

So because of that fact; Thats about the only reason I hate IWNet. I can't select and play on a particular server that I know tends to have people playing on it that are more of my skill level. The fact that i'm forced to basically play pub games 95% of the time kind of ruins it for me since it's so easy.

I think thats an exaggeration. I know what aimbot looks like after a lot of BF2 playing. I have encountered only two such players using that in all the time I have played. I have also encountered a couple players using obvious wallhacks. Encountering one a week? Not a chance. Maybe I am not as lucky as you are though, but I think that is exaggerating it.

As for taking note, I have done that. I also email steam the name of the player as well.

Online mode has absolutely *nothing* new that hasn't been done before. It just tweaks the gameplay by adding perks, and bonuses for playing more. Levels are small and claustrophobic. Server migration is disgusting, breaking the flow of the game, the suspense and tension is broken completely when it happens. Matchmaking was hit or miss in finding a game that was a challenge or balanced. Pings were decent but not great.

Spec Ops was okay, I guess, but I never had doubts about the game having tasks to complete. *shrug*

Graphics were a HUGE letdown on the 360. We were playing on a 52" plasma and the low resolution was terribly obvious. Aliasing was obvious and painful. Textures were blurry and boring. Framerates were okay. But overall, enormous letdown on the 360.

It's not worth $60. it offers absolutely nothing new we haven't seen before. Nothing. I'm glad I didn't buy it for the PC.

My group primarily plays Mosh Pit to mix up the game types. We rarely see any cheaters/hackers.

Ground War seems to be the breeding ground for the hackers since they are large games.

As for saving money, I am on board with that. I always look to ebay and craigslist for used equipment that I need. At the same time though, as you agreed with, they are not legit sellers of the game. I would never take a chance with a game with a unique key on ebay or craigslist. Too many chances that the key was copied and/or will be dumped on some cdkey site on the internet. If you are down for that risk, thats great. The $20 you saved was a great deal. If in 3 months that person who sold you the game decides to drop the key onto a cdkey site on the internet for everyone to snag, and they ban the key, will it still be a great deal?

Saving $20 and adding risk like that is just too much for me thank you. The extra $20 is worth the piece of mind. :)
