[Info] Belkin battery backup vs Windows 7

I'm having problems with Windows 7 shutting down. I'm using a Belkin Model #F6C650 USB.

I've been troubleshooting for about 4 days and also 2 hours today on the phone with Microsoft. They have moved me to the advanced tech support and I'll get a call back tomorrow.

Just wondering if anyone has had a problem with shutdown and is using a Belkin battery backup

 Problem solved. It was my Belkin battery backup. Removed it from my system and plugged everything into another surge supressor. Windows 7 now works perfectly.

Anyone else having a shutdown problem should check out this solution...
