| emergency broadcast tests during dvr playback!?!
i woke up early this morning an was watching the games from last night an i got 3 friggin tests within a 10 minute span, i eventually got up an unscrewed the cable line from the back of the box.
first off, why are there 3 tests being done, its supposed to be 1.
second, the test will actually get bypassed if you pause the dvr, yet when i tried fast forwarding or rewinding it played normally which was what finally made me realize it wasn't on the actual recording(i did find it odd they would do tests during MNF lolz)
bottom line is, its stupid to have tests fee thru the dvr feed, the live broadcast signal isnt even being used, so it shouldn't be coming thru my dvr feed.
and again, if it happened just once it wouldn't of mattered, but more than that is ridiculous an who knows how many more times it went on if i didn't unscrew the coax from the box. |

The idea is if your watching tv (or dvr'd tv), your attention is on the tv thus making it a perfect time to warn you about the pending Armageddon because you will most likely notice said warning. |
