<description><![CDATA[Bill_MI posted : Hi Insomniacno1, How about a sanity check of connections for MODEM, ROUTER and AP?...<br><br>ROUTER WAN connects to MODEM.  This is the only connection to MODEM.<br><br>AP (1 port) connects to ROUTER LAN.<br><br>All wired PCs to ROUTER LAN.<br><br>I'm sure other things would fail if this wasn't the setup but I want to be sure.  What Full Power suggested should work.<br><br>Otherwise, something else (like a personal or o/s firewall) is blocking the 192.168.1.245 address for some reason.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Insomniacno1 posted : Hello to all, <br><br>How to set up my Wlan if :<br><br>ZTE 3G Modem(no DHCP): 192.168.0.1<br>Linksys BEFSR41 V3 router : 192.168.1.1<br>Linksys AP WAP54G Rev. 2 : 192.168.0.245 (static IP (if I set it to DHCP I can't access the AP))<br><br>Laptop Static IP : 192.168.1.100<br>Subnet : 255.255.255.0<br>Gateway : 192.168.1.1<br>DNS : 192.168.0.1<br><br>Problem is that I have to change my laptop's IP to static from DHCP, and from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.0.100, in order to access the AP's setup every time I need to change something. Accessing the router goes fine without changing anything.<br><br>The modem's IP can't be change and when I tried changing the Router's IP to 192.168.0.2 then I could no longer gain access(not even wired) and had to reset the router and start over.
