BHC Throttle you tube?

Does BH throttle places like you tube? I have 15m connection and it will not stream anything from place like you tube. I know a friends 6m dsl connection will stream it.

It's probably being done at YouTubes servers or you have a local network problem that need to be looked at. BH does not actively throttle bandwidth. There's no need for it.

Do you or your friend have a laptop? I would suggest you trying his connection out or vice-versa. Maybe it's a computer problem. What do your speed tests look like?

Are your parents on BHN? Also, If you have a neighbor you could bring your laptop over there and try it. This would at least tell you if it's something from your modem out to the main line. Have you checked your signals by typing in »192.168.100.1

I had a similar problem that turned out to be a wireless router going bad - replaced the D-link with a Buffalo, and now runs without interruption.
