Thanks. I wondered what are the sizes of Flash/RAM does a Linksys WRT54GS v7 have. Can you telnet and/or login to your WRT54GS? If so, once login into the shell, can you try either df and/or free to find out the partitions and RAM sizes, respectively? I suspect this device has a built-in Flash/RAM of 2/8MB only.

Please read my post to find out. My Linksys WRT54GS v3 has been running an open-source firmware right after I bought it. So, I don't know if the Linksys stock firmware will have a feature to show the amount of Flash/RAM on your device.

Enter the model number of your router into this site and it will tell you the RAM and flash memory:

»www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database

Edit: I just realized this question was directed to mazilo. I hope you don't mind me giving another answer...
