Out doing that on your own, hit a submerged object that impeads or stops your progress and you are tossed into freezing water to die within a few minutes... heck, even if you live, your snowmobile is at the bottom.

| Skipping water on a sled is common place. That video shows it being taken to the extreme, but it is not that big a deal. Many a sled has been pulled from the water after failed attempts. A little work and they are ready to go again.
