<description><![CDATA[38632383 posted : This will be easy to get going. Disable the DHCP server and UPNP in the router and plug the output of the PC into a LAN port on the router. Then the X-Box will get an IP address directly from the PC. If you would also like to be able to access the GUI of the router then program the LAN IP of the router to be in the range of 192.168.0.xxx<br>(Be sure the router's LAN IP is not 192.168.0.1. If it is then change either it or the IP of the computer NIC).<br><br>After making the changes be sure to restart the X-Box so it will renew it's address.]]></description>
