My son who is in college needed a couple of movies for one of his class papers.
He did a google for online movies and that led him to ZML.com.
He signed up for the FREE account and tried to get a movie DL'd.
It quit half way through and he said this was BS and cancelled his account via the site.
They hit him with a $39.90 charge on his account last month.
They also hit him with one this month too for $39.90.
He thought the enrollment was canceled till he checked his account yesterday and found the charges.
(typical college kid, they don't pay attention)
I told him to go to his credit union and tell them he's being hit with bogus charges and to cancel his card and get a new one.
I googled ZML.com and found this outfit is a skank operation and a lot of people have been hit with similar charges.
And typically you cant reach them by phone and they dont pay any attention to email or messaging through their site.
I visited their site and it looks great till you read their terms of service. It is a consumer nightmare.
Just a heads up for anyone looking at that site.

1 edit | I see that site is by the same group that created AllOfMp3.ru (the illegal Russian MP3 Site) that charged a fraction of the real price places like iTunes Store and Amazon would charge for MP3 downloads.
It looks like they also charge for Movie downloads and you have to "pre-load" your free account (the account is free, not the Movie downloads) with "tokens" that you buy with your Credit Card funds.
I don't know of any classes that require you purchase DRM free Hollywood Movies from the same Russian group that ran AllOfMp3.ru to turn in with your course work. It sounds like your have been sold a bill of goods by the offspring of your loins.

| Thanks for the reply. That's the conclusion I came to after I read a bunch of the complaints against them.
The assignment they had was from his social/history class. It was to have them watch a movie from the 40's or 50's and a recent movie then write a paper showing the differences in the ways that movies have an effect on society.
The professor didn't say where to get the movies from he just suggested that they rent them. So my son figured this was a convenient cheap way to do it.....Wrong.
An expensive lesson but it could have been a lot worse...
At least he wasn't at one of Anthony's Traveling Gypsy shows.

AllOfMP3 was a legal website, I am unsure why you state it is "illegal."
I am not familiar with ZMD so I can not comment.
