rdraider : I am trying to help a family member remotely. They have a new Windows 7 machine. DSL basic I think. Using Speedstream 5100 (4 light model). The PC connects directly to the Speedstream modem, no router involved. This same setup worked under Windows XP.
They had some line problems (due to recent home remodeling work) which have been resolved. Now when opening IE on Windows 7, they get an AT&T web page stating they are running an incompatible OS or browser. Sorry for the lack of details, I am trying to get senior citizens to provide technical details.
