| [TWC] Weird internet connection? (Corpus Christi)
My connection seems to be fin and i recently updated to Road Runner turbo, but when i try to stream a video from youtube it takes forever to finish. I also play World of Warcraft and my latency is fine and i get disconnected for no reason. Any ideas why or any directions I could get pointed to? |

| Make sure you check for browser hijacks and other viruses. A lot of time people have them and dont know it.
Sometimes the browser hijacks use a lot of bandwidth, as well as some viruses.
Have you tried to ping anything to see if you have any packet loss?

I just upgraded to Windows 7 a fresh install, I was having the slow youtube problem before (metacafe works just fine, as well as hulu and others) I still have slow loading of youtubes to the extreme that I have to wait for them to load before watching.

this only leaves 2 possiblilites
1. Youtube's servers are overloaded (very unlikely)
2. Man in the middle throttling by time warner. |

San Diego, CA | It might not actually be the youtube video, but rather waiting for the ads on the web page to load before the video starts. |

Winston Salem, NC | the loading bar on the video "loads" slow, so I don't think it has anything to do with the ads on the page. |
