<description><![CDATA[xmrocks posted : Flaming aside and ignoring what's right and wrong, if the domain is with GoDaddy, then all you need to do is repoint the NS records to the new host and have them set up a DNS zone on their end. <description><![CDATA[luma posted : I don't think you are under some kind of contract wit them? <br><br>so if you don't want to pay/continue service it should not be a problem.<br><br>you need to connect with your domain registrar (hopefully not hostgator as they can be dicks and hold your domain hostage) and change the NS records to the new host.<br><br>if old host and new host uses cpanel you can ask for a backup and transfer it to the new host and ask them to restore it, making all your email addresses and accounts up and running again.<br><br>else you need do that manually.<br><br>once the domain is pointed it to the new host just recreate the email address and voila back in business.<br><br>Luma]]></description>

Long Story short, I accidently maxed out my credit card, and they were unable to bill me in October, so they Suspended my site. <br><br>I guess it was actually a blessing in disguise, because I found another company where I can get the same plan for almost half the cost.<br><br>I am wondering is it possible for me to transfer my domain to another host, without me having to Pay HostGator? <br><br>And what will happen to the e-mail address that I had setup with HostGator?]]></description>
