so if you don't want to pay/continue service it should not be a problem.

you need to connect with your domain registrar (hopefully not hostgator as they can be dicks and hold your domain hostage) and change the NS records to the new host.

if old host and new host uses cpanel you can ask for a backup and transfer it to the new host and ask them to restore it, making all your email addresses and accounts up and running again.

else you need do that manually.

once the domain is pointed it to the new host just recreate the email address and voila back in business.
