Re: Bah,,, if all it will be is an apk file they are doomed. its far too easy to pull the apks off android. unless they build it into the os then all it will take is someone to reverse engineer it.
not to mention all the alternatives out there for doing these things with android.
only an idiot/lazy person would pay an extra $30 to tether it when they could just as easily follow a howto and do it for free |

knowing verizon, they can be pretty big assholes. if they'll see that your droid suddenly has a user-agent of FireFox, or there's a download of fla movies from youtube while there is no flash on android, it's obvious the phone have been tethered and then verizon can start charging you by KB or forcefully terminate your service for breaking TOS/AUP. -- Check out my awesome city of MxxTopia »mxxtopia.myminicity.com/ind or »mxxtopia.myminicity.com (the more people visit, the bigger it is) |

Almost completely useless these days since most sites require Flash 9+ Adobe has announced support for Flash 10 on mobile sometime late this year on select devices with more mainstream support later in 2011. I'm not convinced they're going to be able to pull it off. They announced Mobile Flash 7 years ago, delivered a couple of buggy slow releases, and gave up. Maybe things will be different this time? |

"support youtube", ie downloading 3gp videos is not the same thing as going to the real www.youtube.com and downloading real .FLA movies.
none of the android phones support real flash yet. -- Check out my awesome city of MxxTopia »mxxtopia.myminicity.com/ind or »mxxtopia.myminicity.com (the more people visit, the bigger it is) |
