Good point. Data is data and the rate should be the same no matter which device is creating it.

Exactly...

If I get an android and it has the ABILITY to tether then thats why I bought the phone for its features. I shouldnt have to pay a monthly fee for a feature of the phone unless it requires verizon to actively maintain it.

Data is data and the plans should be written in stone... 30 bucks for 5GB... 40 for 10GB etc...
