In the MPLS market, there have already been some tech, engineer, and other "front lines" let go.. there was a round of black Thursday layoffs, albeit not a huge one.. there is rumor there is another round coming soon.. but, in that case, yes, there are some administrative positions being trimmed as well... but, it's not just limited to non-front-line people. |

Front line supervisors, video support agents, spotlight and dispatch are among the 'current' eliminations. Techs are on the table and not sure yet if they'll have any positions cut yet.
Next up is business services support agents. They're being moved to residential support, and their positions are being moved to another 'centralized' state with a large number of greenhorns. I don't expect that to go well... |
