I hope somebody can help, I just cannot get to view my Slingbox wirelessly, I have an O2 modem/router by Thomson connected to the Wndr3700, on the front display of the wndr it is showing an Amber light for the Slingbox, which I can view on the PC ok, both modem & Wndr firmware are on default except that I have forwarded port 5001 for Sling, DHCP, UPnp are enabled, tryed static ip addresses but won't work.
If anyone has any idea's please respond.

1 edit | Not to state the obvious but have you enabled remote viewing on the Slingbox? If you have the software already set up, Click on "Edit properties" of the Slingplayer software in the Slingbox Directory to check.
That's the only thing I can think of. I have a Slingbox Pro HD and it works fine with my WNDR3700. |

| reply to Epd Hi, maybe you can help me out. I apologize for being a little new at this. I am hooking up my slingbox to a WNDR3700. I have connected everything and the network light is lit on the slingbox. I'm not sure if I'm doing the port forwarding right. What should the service name, start/end port, and server ip address be? I have tried wireless and wired and the slingplayer still can not find my slingbox. I turned my firewall off, just incase that was a problem. I can see the slingbox on the attached devices list on the router manager. Please help. |
