atuarreHere come the drumsPremium join:2004-02-14 College Station, TX | RE Just more of the same people wanting something and feel they do not have to pay extra for it. You want to download videos and stuff over there wireless network, you should pay more "be allowed" to tether your device.
Kind of like how the people who look at MMOPRG's as stating that they should only have to pay the purchase price, and not the monthly recurring charge to maintain a presence in the game.
Same thing with people complaining about Blackberries. They are just like every other device. You get a voice/data plan. You can connect your Blackberry to exchange without going through BES using OWA or POP/IMAP. You want the convenience of everything synching instantly and access to contacts, tasks, etc, then you pay extra.
Too many people want something for too little or for nothing at all. |

GuspazGuspazPremium,MVM join:2001-11-05 Montreal, QC kudos:16 | Well, my provider charges me $30 for 6GB, *including* tethering. Because if I'm paying for 6GB, I should be able to use it however I want. What does it matter if I consume my 6GB on-device or off-device? Either way, the same amount of data is consumed.
Luckily, my provider (currently) thinks the same way, although they've indicated that they intend to change this. |
