I got mine as well and works great. But already having the "Roku" player for past 2 years that is small and silent, I will not be using my ps3 for netflix. Roku player is just a better option for me. |

Really? I know the Roku is silent, but the PS3 seems almost silent (I can't even hear it unless I put my head very close to it and listen with the tv sound off). |

| Oh im not saying my ps3 is loud or anything, but there is a fan inside that runs when its on. Its almost silent actually but i can hear it. There was only one time I heard my ps3 wind up and get somewhat loud, I then dismantled it and took her over to the compressor to blow her out. this was about 8 months ago after having it for bout 2 1/2 years.
I will use the Roku to eliminate some "wear and tear" on the PS3, and probably should of been more clear on that,, Sorry for the confusion, My PS3 is quiet, But the Roku is actually silent.
I did try PS3 for netflix and one thing I do like is the option to search for movies in different genres instead of being limited to whats on just your instant queue like the Roku. I am thinking Roku will get this option also with a update. I really like the fact thats its just not a 360 thing now! |
