If they didn't have a 30 day limit before the plan expires it would be perfect. If I used the cellular broadband on a regular basis, it looks like the Cricket service is by far the best deal. A free modem and only $40 a month for up to 5GB is a sweet deal. I paid $150 for my Virgin mobile modem when they were first released.

dstratton join:2005-06-15 Shelbyville, KY	Cricket's definitely the better deal but I think their data coverage is even more limited than Virgin's. Roommate had Cricket and he was constantly dealing with an overloaded network for voice calls, so I'd be hesitant to rely on their data. Virgin's plan will definitely do what I need. I'm on call one week a month and there are times I need to get online quickly. 250mb is more than I'd need for those occasions. $20 every now and again, versus $60 every month... it's a done deal. $150 up front sucks. But I think it'll do! Thanks for your feedback on the Virgin plan.
