| Switch from ATT in Woodland, CA?
Considering a switch from ATT dsl service.
Anyone use DSLExtreme in or around Woodland, CA?
I pre-qualified for Elite on the DSLE website but att told me the same thing until I upgraded and then found out I couldn't reach the advertised speeds.
Other options or opinions appreciated.
Thanks

I personally prefer DSLX service and have been a satisfied customer for over 9 years. Now having said that, i am currently have service difficulties that i am 100% sure is not DSLX related. They have been very responsive and the communication I have had with them have been very pleasant and technically correct. I'm not very sure how the line qualification process and in some cases they may not know what speed you could actually get until they check the line at your house. I suspect that the newer your wiring and the closer you are to the Remote Terminal on the street as well as the electrical closeness to the CO and you should be able to get full speed service. if you know you are already pretty far from the CO then they may not be able to provide the higher speed you want. I could be wrong about all this but I welcome any corrections. |
