Norstar phone system question

Click for full size
Anyone know much about the Nortel Norstar phone systems?

I've got an issue that's been bugging me forever at work... When viewing the CallerID log (F812), the phone number is displayed before the area code, making it impossible to dial it by just hitting a line button.

It used to work long time ago when we had a smaller system (3x8), but we switched to a 4x16 a while ago and it's been screwed ever since. The installer didn't know how to address the issue. There is also a CallPilot 100 voicemail box attached if it makes a difference.

I looked in the PDF manual for this system and I couldn't find anything about it.

HiVolt.

Check out: »www.sundance-communications.com/···tebb.cgi
Post a message in the Nortel forum and mark it attention to TeleMarv - he really knows his stuff.

Well I've had no luck at the sundance forums. Only one reply one guy suggesting its a telco issue, which it obviously isn't.

i've been going thru a captive cics and not able to replicate what you're seeing

I'm on 7.1 software though, and I don't have a 6.1 cartridge kicking around
