Re: apparently Washington and Oregon aren't stupid said by hottboiinnc:No instead you'd get a notice from VZ stating that within 30-90 days you're going to lose everything until someone else decides to take over. That is the conundrum facing regulators. I have some sympathy for regulators in VT/NH/ME when faced with the same situation. If the incumbent says they no longer want to do business in your state - how much leverage does the government have to compel them to stay. If they kill the sale what sort of investments can you expect from the incumbent?
