<description><![CDATA[DeHackEd posted : Do-it-yourself kernel compiling isn't hard.<br><br>Even so, there's other options. Many distros (centos and/or fedora qualify) have pre-built PXE-bootable images. Use pxelinux as your TFTP bootloader, use vmlinuz/initrd provided by the distro, an HTTP server to serve the installation DVD contents, and boot in rescue mode. A bit of a hassle for first time setup, but the same system allows for PXE installation, memtest86 can be run this way, etc.<br><small>--<br>That's odd...</small>]]></description>
