| How Can I find Out If Anti Virus Or Spyware Program Running?
Been trying to install Microsoft Security Essentials and Freezes when installed. Been in contact with Microsoft and says some anti virus or spyware is running. I had Avast and Zone Alarm Anti virus but they are uninstalled. Is there any way to see if anything else might be running that I do not know about?
Advice much appreciated, thanks!!!

While it's not a direct way to find out, watch for unsolicited outbound connections that your computer makes. Almost all of malware will eventually connect to the Internet. To do so - use a decent outbound firewall (look at its log) or, at least, watch connections with tools like TCPView. If you catch something ambiguous, then investigate what is it.
