Unless the problem is blatantly a computer issue, you would never be charged. <description><![CDATA[balla786 posted : No disrespect, but they won't charge you for a RED act light on the 2Wire modem. That light on the modem means that the modem is not ack'ing an IP, no dataflow. That can mean the following:<br><br>1) Network side outage<br>2) Port issue<br>3) Bad modem<br><br>All of which you would not be charged for.<br>Yes, hold times are high some times, but I doubt you were put on hold for 1 hour while they checked the issue. It's a quick thing to check for a RED act light, especially quick for an Outage.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[anon posted : All ive gotten from TELUS is problem after problem, Phone support quality is horrible cant even understand the people, Next thing you know you get high latencys now theres a outage hopefully it gets fixed but no it gets worse. Now i cant get on the internet, My act light on my router goes red call support make me do all this stuff put me on hold for 1 hour and now they tell me i need a TECH to come ot my house. Now i gotta pay for a tech had bad can this get. <br><br>Im going to prob move to Shaw for support quality and low latencys and faster dl speeds. <br><br>The latest i can get a tech to my house is on the 11th of November.<br><br>I bet i could get shaw faster than that.<br><br>Sorry for anything against TELUS its just not working.]]></description>
