 Gallery: Changed Host Issues

Click for full size
I moved a gallery from DreamHost to HostGator and everything appears to be working, I can see the thumbnails, all user ID's work and whatnot.... but when I click on a picture to enlarge it.. I get this screen. It works fine on the old host, but does not work on the new host.

Any Suggestions?

In the Site Admin area, check the Plugins and Graphic Toolkits status.

Re: Gallery: Changed Host Issues

Speaking of that, I use HostGator. (With Drupal.)
GD2 was already available, but ImageMagick was not.
Minutes after I asked I received a reply saying that they added it for me.

It looks like ImageMagic wasn't configured. I configured and tested it. However, I still have broken images all over the place.

I suggest you run a few of the System Maintenance items:

1) Convert MySQL database to UTF8
2) Delete template cache
3) Delete database cache
4) Optimize database

That will help clean up any artifacts that might be causing problems.

By chance, have you asked HostGator about the site?
It is surprising what they may actually fix for you.
(Especially as a new customer.)

I really have no clue what level of difficulty this is?

I've been with HostGator for several months now, so I'm not really a "new" customer... this is just a new site I am getting around to moving over. I've used their support several times so far and they have been great, but I haven't asked them about this issue (other than to get the path for ImageMagic)

I'm really stuck on this issue and as a last resort, I could ask their support if they have any idea's

Ah. Just as I thought "Unfortunately we don't offer support for third party software scripts." It was a nice try anyway.

I had this exact same issue. Moved a client site from Dreamhost to my Hostgator account wracked my brain for like a week came up with nothing and I ended up having to install a fresh copy of gallery and reapplying the theme and reuploading all the images. It was a nightmare. Took me about 2 days to get everything back to the way it was but compared to the week I wasted trying to troubleshoot I wish I had just done it sooner.

Wish I had a fix for you. Good luck.

RESOLVED!!!

Joe7 (THANKS!) helped me out in the IRC channel.

What we did to resolve the issue:

Looking at the error messages, Joe7 suggested that I run a query on my database. I opened up phpmyadmin, logged in, and ran the following query: SELECT * FROM g2_Derivative WHERE g_id=YOURIDNUMBERHERE where YOURIDNUMBERHERE comes from the error information as to which ID is having a problem.

The result showed up as one of my entries having an error. The g2_isBroken was already set to "1" which was throwing the error (although I am informed that it should not). I reset it to "0" and all of my problems went away! Well, actually then a second ID popped up with the same problem. I followed the same procedure and it, too, was vanquished.

Thanks again, Joe7!
Perhaps?

Interesting! However, I did a search in PHPMyAdmin for g2_isBroken and it didn't find any results

I think you might be on to something! I will post back once I know for sure. I didn't find g2_isBroken.... but, I did find something else that could be a key!

Well, I thought I was on to something but I wasn't I guess It appears the database is all screwed up, I can't make any sense out of any of it. I may just have to tell him we'll have to upload everything all over again 3894 pictures or so... Ouch! He's spent countless hours on this too... O-Well. I'll dig around a bit more and see what I can find.

Have you tried reordering the Graphic Toolkits. You don't need them all installed. I normally use just ImageMagick and GD with ImageMagick as the default.

I was thinking maybe that was a problem. At first, ImageMagick wasn't even setup, so I set that up and uninstalled/reinstalled the rest of them and didn't seem to help either way.
