something loose inside laptop.

I was moving my wife's laptop just a second ago and I heard something like a screw, or plastic moving around inside under the keyboard. Everything works fine, I have noticed that the cpu area getting a little warmer, but I've got like a million things running at once, including boinc. Should I be worried? It's about 6 months old, Compaq 419 bought from Wal-Mart.

Like mentioned everything seems to be working like normal.

Hi,

Why not take the keyboard off and turn the laptop upside down and shake it a little and see if anthing falls out.

Then you might want to see if any of the heatsink screws loosened and fell out.

If you don't want to do that, The backup all of your information and restore it to day one. Then return it to Walmart (If you still have the original box it came in).

You have not had that laptop for six months. I bought my T41 in July and My T43 in september. You bought that Compaq august or early september.

Boy is your memory fading fast.... LOL!!! you must be catching the mans disease (MENTALPAUSE)... Short term memory loss.....
