He would try to delete them because they're obviously not Documents that you created. They are obviously extraneous files they do not belong in that directory. Based on that almost everyone I know would assume junk.
If you do a little research, the general consensus of opinion is to NOT delete them. They are normally hidden for a reason. Kramer See Profile's post explained why they are exactly where they should be.

Why would someone just "assume junk" and willy nilly delete when they have no idea what it is?

Hence the reason why people show up here with so many odd problems.

PS- I think they showed up when I migrated files from XP to 7 with the easy transfer wizard (not sure about that though)

Why do I have to look at these files?
