I just got the same robocall 30 seconds ago and came here to scoop the news, but looks like you beat me to it. My message said it would be done "in the next few days".
I'm assuming the upstream will jump to 1 mbps. Or will it be 2 mbps? Hmmm.
So the next question is, will there be any changes to Road Runner Lite? |

Answered my own question.
Tested first, got 7/512. Power-cycled the modem and the new config has obviously been published because I then got 10/1.
It's nowhere near what I get on FIOS, but for a backup connection (which never gets used anyway) it's not too shabby. |

Bright House Networks today has eliminated their 7M /512k speed and replaced it with 10m/1m service. Existing 7M/512K customers are being upgraded to 10m/1m service. Current Bright House 15/2 or 20/2 service customers are not impacted by this change and they will receive no upgrade in speed |

dunno, as soon as I upped the qos my upload speed tested around 1mbps at speedtest.com and tampa bay and cfl rr speed test sites. just checked again to make sure. 975 up and 9930 down.
