My thought is that they are handing out the numbers for free right now. In the near future, they will start to charge $5 to $10 a month for the service expecting some people to drop it. However, given their extensive cross country fibre backbone that carries a lot of their other services, they will save money by not having to pay third parties to carry the voice. |
