@bell.ca | All the ports in your area are being used....
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. I am with Bell and I want to switch but the rep told me that all the ports in my area are being used... |

| If you switched, you might be fine. Sometimes when you switch from one company to another, Bell will keep the current connection intact. However, I would not put it past Bell to play some games with you and disconnect you and then say that service isn't available to a Teksavvy user. |

| reply to goleafsgo Bell rep told you or TekSavvy? If it was Bell that told you, I'd disregard this.
That said, If you want to make sure, you can order TekSavvy on a 2nd pair, see if it goes thru, then cancel your Bell crap. -- 1-for-October. (1-7-4) And now, back to your regularly scheduled losing. |

| reply to goleafsgo Sorry I should have made it more detailed. I have internet with Bell right now and I want to switch over to Techsavvy because it is cheaper with the right amount of speed that I need.
Now, I called Techsavvy and they said that all the "ports" in my area are being used and to try calling us back another day. I don't know if that meant that the available ports in my area are all being used by other customers or something else.
Does this mean I can't have Techsavvy internet? or What should I do? I don't have any line problems with Bell right now, getting the exact speed on my profile that I pay for. |

| If that is the case and the area is embargoed or something similart, we could certainly give a migration a shot. We would require your existing service number (home telephone number or dry loop number if on sympatico dry loop) and your B1 username. With these 2 pieces of information, we should be able to migrate the line and port to us that you are currently using. In order for this to flow properly, you cannot place a cancellation with Bell.
