| FiOS iPhone app?
Does anyone know if FiOS will release an iphone app that will allow me to integrate email, phone and dvr capabilities? I haven't seen this discussed.
Comcast has an app that allows you to get your VM, email and channel lineup from iphone, no dvr though |

I would forget about an iPhone app for the next 12 months while waiting to see if the rumored VZ iPhone hits 3Q10. |

There are quite a few people that have Verizon phones, and have an ipod touch. These people could also benefit from a FiOS App. |

No, that means they have to maintain two different interfaces, and as long as your phone doesn't have a really crappy browser you too can use the web portal. |

Those would all be very welcomed features, but I think the primary reason most of us use our phones to program the DVR is for those, "Oh crud!" moments when you forget to program something or you can't make it home or to a networked computer in time. I don't think it's meant to be used for scanning the channels looking for a few things to record for later viewing. As devices become more powerful and wireless network speed and reliability improve, these options will become more important. |
