| Yikes, those are kinda pricy at half a mill a pop. Are you saying da mare should get them to help reduce pollution... or that the high price tag seems like something he would spring for (cause I'd go either way).
If its the eco view, what about the buses? The Champaign/Urbana MTD has been swapping their fleet with these new hybrids and soy bio diesel ones. I am sure CTA could work on cleaner buses.

Chicago, IL | A big chunk of the CTA busses are Hybrids. Mostly on the big routes though. The only example that comes to mind is the #8 Halsted route. |

Yes there are some School buses that are Hybrids..but remember they are not owned by the city  |
