| You Asked for it! BoA X-Faction Items!
its coming and you're happy about it, aren't you? unfortunately it doesn't say cross-server.
"Then the good news is that, if you're able to patiently wait for patch 3.3 you will probably be rewarded with the very thing you're requesting. That's right, we aim to implement the ability to exchange bind-on-account items between your Horde and Alliance characters in patch 3.3. Of course, as with anything not yet live (and even things that are) this is subject to change, but it currently remains our intention. Hope that helps somewhat, or rather, hope that will help somewhat. "

| Yes,I am VERY happy about this "possibility".
They say it never confirmed till the patch hits and they may change their minds.
But the community as a whole has been screaming for this for over a year.
I know that I want to experience all the game has to offer,WITHOUT the pain of Leveling without some sort of enhancement. Going from Alliance to Horde or Horde to Alliance can be painful when you already have these items on your main and alts on Faction "A" and want to see the Faction "B" side of things.
I currently have 3 sets of Shoulders and a Chest Piece and one Weapon.ALL on Alliance side.My Deathknight is on Horde side and I would love to have these available for transfer to him.I then would send them back to my Paladin and get him up to lvl 80.
I have read the Blue posts about this,I am 99% sure it will happen in patch 3.3.Although there is always a chance something may happen to screw it up. -- Heavily Armed and Easily Provoked |

| reply to Harddrive Actually I have post in several places about this and even got a response from a Blizzard Mod in the official forums about it coming out in patch 3.3.They also said in that same blue post that it is not set in stone if it will be in 3.3.
But I did not provide links as Drew so helpfully has done, mostly because I do not like sifting through 12 pages of maybes and crying over nerfs. -- Heavily Armed and Easily Provoked |

| I think even more important than the items for characters 68+, is that this should allow the book for Cold Weather flying to be sent! The 20% xp boost is obviously nice for leveling in Northrend, but my last alt was even quicker because of the ability to fly for all the quests. |

| I am thinking about leveling a healing class...but do I want to go for the 3rd plate class (since I have a warrior/dk)? That would mean I have 3 tanks, 2 dps and 1 healer...3 tanks rofl. -- Reality doesn't bite, rather our perception of reality bites. - Anthony J. D'Angelo |

| I could do that. I really need to step away from the classes that tank. My warrior tanks 99% of the time and Tirael is a 50/50 shot depending on what people need. I am almost getting tired of tanking. I think I will get some BoA gear and go to town on a shammy. Maybe elemental/resto since I need a ranged dps and everyone loves shammies. -- Reality doesn't bite, rather our perception of reality bites. - Anthony J. D'Angelo |

| reply to Tirael I think the most valuable players are the ones who can fill two roles with two sets of maintained gear/specs and a proper understanding of both.
It took me a while, but my tank set is good enough to do anything but main-tank and I've set myself specifically to be an anti-caster tank because I know my role is primarily DPS, not main-tank... Although, being a caster tank didn't really cause me to sacrifice anything. -- 'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.' -Thomas Jefferson - |

| Well, I guess I am screwed then lmao. I need to work on Pale's dps set since my tanking gear is coming around. Maybe run heroics till my fingers bleed and get some t8 dps gear, lol. -- Reality doesn't bite, rather our perception of reality bites. - Anthony J. D'Angelo |

| All tanks should have a good DPS set. Various fights require anywhere from 1-3 tanks and when the fights require only one tank, you want to make sure your DPS gear is decent, so that you're more valuable. I'm on the flipside where I want to make sure my tank set is decent in case we're short a tank. -- 'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.' -Thomas Jefferson - |

| reply to Archivis Yeah the problem with Pale's dps gear is that I never ran with more than 2 tanks in a raid and when I was doing Ulduar her dps set was fine. Now, since dps has fallen to the wayside for me on my warrior, I have left my dps neglected. It wouldn't take me too long to get it up though. The hard part is that most people that ask me to come to a raid already know who I am and what my tank gear is like. It doesn't bother me though because warrior tanking is fun. I just gotta work the kinks out of my dps set lol. -- Reality doesn't bite, rather our perception of reality bites. - Anthony J. D'Angelo |

| reply to Harddrive Personally, I would much much prefer if they created a way to transfer your BoA items to a different server. I currently have every PvE BoA ingame (most are multiples too like the Mass and Daggers and swords and the trinkets). What I would like to do the most is level toons on other servers, experience different communities and meet new people. |
