| Replacement Window
I am looking for a replacement window... It is a double-hung that will fit into a 28" x 38" rough opening... My problem is neither Lowes or Home Depot has these in stock... I can order a Pella window online thru Lowes but it takes 2-3 weeks to arrive... I want to change it before Thanksgiving... Any suggestions?? -- Go Mark Martin! |

| reply to Gemstone Not sure if this is a viable option for you but our local "Habitat for Humanity" has a retail store called "Restore" where they sell all types of household and construction items. The items are usually left overs from construction sites or donated. Our local store has about 3 isles of windows and doors of all sizes, from used to new at a fraction of the cost.
There might be one in your area. »www.habitat.org/cd/env/restore.aspx -- Good judgement comes with experience...Experience comes after bad judgements |
