I had that exact same TI-99/4A, with the brushed metal finish. Did you guys have the Speech Synthesis module? Sounded creepy.

Hunt the Wumpus was my favorite game back then.

The first machine I had with a hard drive was an IBM XT with a 20 MB.

Edit: Wow, after all this time I just realized I put 20 GB instead of MB.

Not sure what all we had. I do know we had a tape drive, couple joy sticks and some game cartridges. Space Invaders, some tank game, and a few others I can't recall at the moment. I'd have to go out and unpack it to see what we had.
