i mean.. why spend the time to create stuff that noone ever sees, and rarely bothers to look for unless theyre bored?
seems like a waste of programming if ya ask me. |

Not really, its one of the things that sets WoW apart from other MMOs. They try to add little places you can explore instead of just setting up grind zones. |

| reply to guyver01 Yeah but that's what makes this game so much different. If you took the path of every player where he walks, rides, and flies from level 1 to 80 I bet you would see very little deviation, almost a straight line. Very few players wander off the beaten path. I used to play with a member of this site who got me started enjoying all the odd little nooks and crannies of the game. -- Hunting is a sport... except only one side knows it's playing - anon comedian

| reply to guyver01 There are little touches all over the game. With the flightpath pathing jitter you occasionally get to see all kinds of nifty stuff in the old world, too. Like the silly road signs on Mount Ironforge.
I get a kick out of seeing something I've never noticed in a zone I've spent a lot of time in over the course of years. |

| reply to guyver01 The Forgotten Places of wow. Should make a nice coffee table book of that.
How many have been to that island far off the south end of Kalimdor? I've thought of trying to get to other spots 'out of bounds' to. Holy dk's with frost path should be able to make it around pretty good going along the coast. |
