What if a new multi-iphone ended up dividing users among 4 differently carriers?

That sure would be easier on the network instead crowding 50 million iphone users all into AT&T only.

Downside of one phone across multiple carriers that I think might keep you from seeing that, barring regulation, is the pissy attitude of corporations. They want to own it all and will everything they can to take the money from the other guy.

Some corporate mentality has to change first before you see this happen.
