Re: iPhone is going no where.... Yup - Basically.. AT&T would have to pay for a the equivalent of a few million iPhones that VZW would have purchased + its own sales. NOT HAPPENING.
VZW / T-Mobile and even Sprint can now get the iPhone.
Apple needs to sell product (iPhone) and services on iTunes. With AT&T reaching a peak on what it can sell (many are now upgrades vs. new), if Apple has its new chipset, it MUST sell product, or it will be holding a lot of R&D budget in debt.
