Took 2 functioning products, currently working 24-7/365 and sunsetted them, for their "brilliant" system, written in Java, and so unstable, as week barely goes by without a crash. Products for mission critical environments that barely run 1 week. "Best and brightest" my @$$.
The Borg couldn't understand WHY the industry they bought into, just simply would not do things the "Google" way, just because, well, they are Google.
So they sell the business, and upset the lives of nearly 60 brilliant people...and if they had stayed the hell out of the business in the first place, we would ALL be better off. |
