I can only hope...

...that all this attention forces AT&T to speed up their 3G rollout.

I have been a Verizon fan for ten years - since I had Bell Atlantic Mobile. I now live exactly in the center of four of their towers and yet can't get any service at home. I can in the yard, but if the wind blows the right way I lose my call. If I go 1/3 of a mile either way, the service works just fine. Up until I moved here, I have only once been someplace that Verizon didn't work and someone else did.

I had to switch to AT&T. It's the only provider that works reliably where I live. The whole BS about "more bars in more places" is, well, BS. But at least I have service at home and most of the places I travel to.

Interestingly, AT&T shows I live in the middle of 3G coverage. I have to drive 8 miles before I get that coverage. Nice.

So again, maybe Verizon's ad campaign (which is utterly brilliant, can't believe they didn't do this sooner! ) will force AT&T to get their stuff in order and get 3G out sooner.

@cox.net

Why can At&t can do similar thing like Microsoft.

Did Microsoft was complaining about Apple Vs Mac Commericial. Nope

So what did Microsoft did. They attack back.

Now Apple is suing Microsoft accuse you are paying Apple Tax.

Att Can attack back.

Maybe they can attack back? How much Verizon is charging compare to Att.
