| Control of physical media. Blockbuster has been in bed with the MPAA for a long time. that's why Blockbuster won't do online streaming. they would have no way to control the physical media, because there is none, like the MPAA wants them to.
plus, Blockbuster would be closing some of its stores if they went hardcore with streaming when people understood how easy it is to get a movie via their broadband connection.
