When my cable company raised prices for basic cable by 10% six months ago, I cancelled my cable tv. With OTA local channels and online streaming content, I have not missed having it at all! |

Every now and then I think I'd like to see some HGTV and some TLC and some Sci-Fi (but I heard they changed it to Sy-Fy  ) and think about ordering it.
Yet I never seem to find it compelling enough to make the call. And then the urge passes.....

Yup. Since I moved out to live on my own, I never saw a need to have a TV even lol. No need for cable. I can watch it at a friends house or at work, or just on my own computer 
Kinda feel bad for the senior citizens since all they do anyway is watch TV all day. I know my grandparents do every time I go visit them. They are like glued to that darn TV.
