Bittorrent vs Usenet

I used to be with an Internet provider who did not throttle my BT downloads. For reasons, I switched ISPs and am now with a provider who throttles BT downloads. As a result, I am off using Usenet as those speeds are not throttled.

Heres my dilema. I loved to use sites like TPB and MiniNova as it was easy to find the Top100 BT files in certain categories. Movies, Music, Audio, etc etc.

I find with Usenet, I don't get that. Are there any comparible sites that will let me see the Top 100 NZbs or something similar?

Yes

I use Newzbin (not free but cheap, not sure if invitations are still required or not) and it lets me sort all NZBs based on the number of views. It also allows you to sort by content type (Movies, TV, music, etc).

I am sure others can suggest some free sites that do that as well.

I use my clients search, like any napster clone would do, but I also use select RSS feeds from binsearch. »binsearch.info/rssfeed.php to alert me to what has been posted. I'm not wasting time that way, searching websites for nzb files, I'm searching for the usable downloads. An occasional nzb saved as a reminder is fine, but it's not necessary to waste time searching for and saving nzbs of files that are downloaded upon discovery of their posting.

There use to be on newzbin but it was taken down a while ago. It was either that or the site would have maybe had to go down. Does suck a little but most of the time the top 100 are all major releases, which I am rarely interested in most of the time. I prefer tv shows and indie flixs.

Those are the most simple things to find then on newzbin or any other nzb indexing sites. They are always indexed first.
