But when they remove that restriction, my internet provider is ready to serve up all that bandwidth!

My set's native resolution is... wait for it... 1920x1080!
It does not internally scale up 720p content from it's RGB or component video inputs, and it does not have HDMI. Lots 'o early HDTV sets do not scale 720p for some reason. |
