blackmagic intensity pro capture card is choppy.. help?
Hey guys and gals.
I just bought a blackmagic intensity pro video capture card to record gameplay from my xbox. I'm using the hdmi in and out ports on the card and have it set to 720p on xbox and the card.
I am having a problem with it freezing a lot and dropping frames.
Here are my computer specs... only thing different from those specs is i have added more ram.
I currently have the pc3200 512mb that came with it and i added 1gb pc2700 to that
it says it's only expandable to 2gb of memory. Is this because of the motherboard? Also I have windows 7 Home premium edition (32bit) installed. Do you think I can install more than 2gb?
In task manager it shows memory usage at like 89% so I definitely need more

It's the BIOS, but it can be the motherboard, too. But if you really want to add a lot of memory (4GB and above) you need a new motherboard.
I suspect this is partly why people build custom computers themselves instead of buying one ready-made.
