Re: What's the point? Twitter is only big because of celebrities.
Only thing that is irrelevant in all of this is Twitter itself. It's a stupid concept, there is no point to it, and in 2 or 3 years from now will be forgotten about. The sooner the better. Things come in waves. AIM is just about dead, PedophileSpace is dead only a matter of time for Twitter and Facebook.
**Ooooh look at me, people care what I'm doing right now, people care what's on my mind, follow me on Twitter** LAME!
And I still have yet to comprehend why checking Twitter is better/easier then coming to this or any other site only to get the same exact information. When I signed up for this atrocity of the English language and reasonable thought, I started following Orbitcast, a satellite radio news site, but what idiot would just go to a site, only to get links to go to another site. Sometimes I wish it was 1995 again, before all this stupidness. Heaven forbid if some 16 year old girl can't update her Facebook every second of the day. This social networking crap needs to go. -- Don't Blame Me, I Voted For McCain Welcome to The SSA, The Socialist States of Amerika, Lead By Your Dictator, Hussein Obama Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, Saddam Hussein, B. I just don't care--and I don't care what other people are up to or what stuff they use. Twitter is a tool that's either used or mis-used just as easily as any other tool. Whether it succeeds or fails as a tool depends on how useful it is to those who use it; so if I don't use it, then why should I give it a second thought regarding whether others do. I don't. It has no effect on me whatsoever. I'm not into social networking. I'm not into blogging. BFD if someone else is. | |
