Re: Lag in all online games... If you come over to the Windstream forums (»Windstream) maybe we can help you more, also you should PM your DSL phone number to Windstream  and let him/her take a look.
I noticed your 1st hop ping is about 50ms that's very high, I would think you have 1 of 2 issues or both, 1. high amount of interleaving to help correct poor line stats or 2. High amount of bandwidth usage (up or down).

Wireless?
Try going wired-only and see if that gets rid of it. Just plug your computer directly into your DSL modem bypassing the wireless router.
If it does, you might try changing the channel your wireless is on. Without further investigation, it's likely the problem is other wireless networks on the same channel . . .or there's a ton of other wireless clients going through your router and occasionally, it drops you. |
