They get paid everytime some dude fills in a survey. In this case - Usenet users desperate to get the RAR password.
In Internet Marketing terms, it's called CPA(Cost Per Action).

Thanks. Good thing I can test to see if a release has a password then before downloading the whole thing. I try not to rely on comments from other people because that doesn't always happen. This may sound stupid but people lie as well. I seen it happen more than once before on comments. Don't ask me why they would do that but they do. Your guess is as good as mine.
