Re: Help with PS3 NAT Type

Yeah, they're right unfortunately. I tried to play Team Fortress 2 just to test it out on satellite and it lagged like hell even when my connection was 100%

This deliberate throttling and disabling access to certain websites/services as of late doesn't make it any easier, this seems to be Hughes latest antics in response for their screw up by overcrowding the satellites by over-subscription.

whether or not it might 'work', 200-425mb... or an amazing 500 mb if you pay the big bucks ... just isnt enough to support console gaming for very long. with all of the changes hughes has made over the last year, i hope a threshold increase is being considered. until then, forget about it.

Russgamer72: Haha I don't play RB2 online. I seem to only play with people in the room. Online doesn't feel as cool to me. :P

I invited my friend to play Uncharted 2 co op and we played for an hour no sweat. The FAP was fine, in fact I want to say it was only about 30 - 40 mb used.

The main reason I want this to work is co op, competitive is a second priority to me. I'm thinking since co op is only a few people, it should be easier.

I figure if I just get NAT 2, connecting will be faster even if it lags. Signing in and such.
